National Rural Education Association

Introducing NREA’s Further Reading Research Collection

The research and study of rural places is critical to helping rural education grow and thrive. These publications grow the reach of the rural communities, connecting them to the greater public and working to find solutions to problems that may feel isolating.

In addition to our own Why Rural Matters research, NREA is proud to support authors who study rural places and publish their work. We have gathered some recommended reading from our network to create the Further Reading Research Collection, and we are open to submissions to add more outstanding rural research materials to this page.
