The National Rural Education Association (NREA) is proud to announce a new Strategic Partnership with the Connect Everyone Coalition (CEC). This partnership focuses on closing the digital gap for rural schools, with a focus on broadband access.
“The Connect Everyone Coalition is proud to welcome the National Rural Education Association as a member, and to partner with NREA to spread the word about the role of low Earth orbit satellites in expanding broadband access for rural students and educators,” said CEC Executive Director Richard Cullen.
The CEC is focused on educating the public and policymakers on the importance of fast and affordable broadband access, as well as how to effectively use the available resources to ensure everyone has that access.
“Getting the rural education community connected with fast and affordable broadband access is a huge step in the right direction,” said NREA Executive Director Dr. Melissa Sadorf. “This is a great partnership to have as we continue in the pursuit of providing rural students, educators and communities with the resources they need to succeed.”
NREA strives to form strategic partnerships that directly benefit rural schools across the nation. Thank you to the Connect Everyone Coalition for joining us in our mission to advocate for every rural learner, educator, and community.
