The National Rural Education Association (NREA) is proud to announce a new Strategic Partnership with Got4titude. This partnership expands NREA’s support of rural families by sharing Got4titude’s resources for fathers who are raising children with disabilities.
“I wanted to create Got4titude as a safe space where other dads, who might also feel lost or alone,” could find community and support,” said Kirby Rabalais, founder of Got4titude. “This isn’t an easy road, and no dad should have to walk it in silence.”
Got4titude was developed based on Kirby’s own journey raising his son, Harley. He created the organization so fathers who are raising children with disabilities have the tools and community they need to support their children.
“Giving fathers the resources they need to care for their children with disabilities is critical support for rural families,” said NREA Executive Director Dr. Melissa Sadorf. “We are proud to partner with Got4titude to expand access to these resources, especially in communities that may not have reliable, locally available family services.”
NREA strives to form strategic partnerships like this one to support rural families and rural children. Thank you to Got4titude for joining us in our mission to advocate for every rural learner, educator, and community. Learn more at www.got4titude.com.
